Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are currently enjoying their new phase of life as they welcomed a baby boy recently. The duo took to social media and shared a joint statement to announce the arrival of their little bundle of joy. Fans of the couple are quite excited to get their son’s first glimpse. Reportedly, Sonam and Anand are planning to host a grand naming ceremony event for their boy.
According to a leading entertainment portal, the star couple will be inviting their close friends and family members to the event. Sonam and Anand will then reveal the name of their son. The report also suggests that the ceremony will take place after Ganpati Visarjan. Earlier, the Kapoor family couldn’t host Sonam’s baby shower due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in Mumbai.
The event was planned and lavish invites were also sent out to the industry people, but it eventually got cancelled. Farah Khan confirmed the same and also said that a simple lunch was organized for close friends instead. Sonam and Anand welcomed their son on August 20. They wrote in their statement, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning, but we know our lives are forever changed.”
