Cobra is off to an excellent start at the Tamil Nadu box office with 55-60 per cent opening in the morning shows. The Chiyaan Vikram starrer action thriller has taken the fifth best opening of the year in Tamil Nadu just behind Beast, Valimai, Vikram and KGF Chapter 2.

Cobra’ starring Vikram in the lead role has hit the big screens today, and fans are going gaga in theatres as they witness the popular actor on big screens after three years. Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Ajay Gnanamuthu, and other stars of ‘Cobra’ watched the FDFS with fans in Chennai. Chiyaan Vikram joined the fans for the screening of ‘Cobra’ in a theatre in Chennai, and fans welcomed the beloved actor with excitement. Srinidhi Shetty, Ajay Gnanamuthu, Meenakshi, Mirnalini Ravi, and a few other members of the crew have also joined Vikram for ‘Cobra’ FDFS. Vikram was spotted in a black t-shirt, while the actor’s son and actor Dhruv Vikram were also spotted along with him. Fans started chanting “Chiyaan… Chiyaan…” as they witness their favourite actor, and it was a lovely start to ‘Cobra’.
