Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram Stories to share a sweet birthday post for her ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’ co-star Rajkummar Rao.
Sharing a dapper photo of the actor, Janhvi wrote, ‘May you shine the brightest this year, Mr Mahi. Happy birthday, Raj!’
This is not the first time that Rajkummar and Janhvi are collaborating on a project. They earlier starred opposite each other in 2021’s horror–comedy, ‘Roohi’. The film also starred Varun Sharma in a key role. ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’ will reportedly revolve around cricket. While the actor will be essaying the character of Mahendra, Janhvi is Mahima. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film is slated to release on October 7, 2022.
On the work front, apart from this, Janhvi will be seen in Boney Kapoor’s ‘Mili’ which is reportedly a remake of the Malayalam film, ‘Helen’. The film also stars Sunny Kaushal in a key role. The actress is also a part of Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal’ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with none other than Varun Dhawan.
Rajkummar, on the other hand, has films like, ‘Bheed’ with Bhumi Pednekar and Dia Mirza. He also has ‘Monica, O My Darling’ with Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte. Rajkummar has also bagged a web series named, ‘Guns And Gulaabs’ co-starring Adarsh Gourav and Dulquer Salmaan.
