The second season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives featuring Neelam Kothari, Bhavana Pandey, Seema Kiran Sajdeh, and Maheep Kapoor, is going to release on September 2, 2022, on Netflix. Ahead of its release, the OTT platform hosted a launch brunch, where the star cast and the producer of the show Karan Johar candidly spoke about the success of season 1 and their expectation from season 2.
Interestingly, the host of the event Neha Dhupia asked Maheep Kapoor to share her opinion on the fact that the Netflix show has been titled a “guilty pleasure”. While Maheep asserted that she knew the show would do well, producer Karan Johar agreed that the show “Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives is a guilty pleasure.” He further added, “I have made a living selling guilty pleasures”.
As the conversation went on, Neha asked the wives about their kids’ reactions to the success of season 1. Speaking on the same, Maheep thoughtfully responded saying, “Honestly, they were quite excited, and they were like well done. Now they know what their moms are all about”.
For the unversed, the first season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives was released back in 2020. Though it received a mixed response from the audience, it was an instant hit. The eight-episode series followed the personal and professional lives of Neelam Kothari, Bhavana Pandey, Seema Kiran Sajdeh, and Maheep Kapoor.
