Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ will release in theatres on September 9 and expectations are high for this Bollywood biggie. The advance booking for the film opened on Friday and set a positive trend across theatres. The numbers look good for a movie releasing post the pandemic.
‘Brahmastra’ sold over 10k tickets in just one chain of theatres for the weekend, while other chains opened advance booking a little late. The present trend suggests that ‘Brahmastra’ will record the best advance booking numbers post the pandemic, apart from ‘KGF 2’. The film is off to a positive start and it remains to be seen how ‘Brahmastra’ will fare in mass circuits as it enjoys a solo release. Brahmastra is being planned as a three-part film franchise. The first part focuses on Shiva, played by Ranbir Kapoor, learning that he has a mysterious connection to the Brahmastra and a great power within him that he doesn’t understand just yet – the power of Fire.
