Simran gets Ranjeet arrested for crimes. Ranjeet escapes in disguise to visit Simran. Simran informs Sumeet, unaware of the identity of the intruder. A party, arranged by Sumeet, ends up in a fight between Sumeet and Ranjeet, who is now exposed but escapes while kidnapping Simran and demanding ransom. Ranjeet kills Simran accidentally, and visits Divya’s (who lives with her daughter) place only to be exposed as her husband. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
