Billy (Andy Garcia) is a Cuban-American traditional man who can’t quickly adapt to changes. He and his wife Ingrid (Gloria Estefan) are going through a phase, and she doesn’t want to continue the marriage. They only hold together until their daughter Sophie (Adra Adjona) gets married to her Mexican fiancé Adan (Diego Boneta). When Sophie informs her parents that she’s getting married to a man she proposed to whom they don’t know, this news doesn’t go well with Billy. She also informs that she does not want a big wedding and that she and Adam can handle the expenses of the wedding themselves. Things begin to turn upside-down when Billy insists on paying, and the wedding gets out of control no matter who does it, Billy is held responsible for all the chaos that happens.
