Isabel Belly Conklin (Lola Tung) is spending her summer at a cousin’s beach along with her mother and brother. The trio is accompanied by her mother’s lifelong best friend and her sons, Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) and Conrad (Chris Briney).
It doesn’t take long for crushes and romance to take off, kickstarting a string of first love, first heartbreak, and an emotional roller coaster. The show is a television adaptation of the 2009 young romance novel trilogy of the same name by American author Jenny Han who also serves as showrunner and executive producer.
